The Mantis Getting The Cicada

One day, when Zhuangzi was strolling through a chestnut orchard, a bird flew past him and hit him accidentally. Insulted, he searched around and returned back with a small catapult. When he was about to have his revenge, he saw a cicada chirping away in a tree, thinking it was perfectly safe...
Not knowing that right behind it was a mantis about to pounce. And while the mantis was concentrating on getting the cicada, it didn't notice that there was a bird ready to gooble it up.
Then suddenly Zuangzi was shocked hearing a furious voice roared behind him, "What do you think you're doing?"
While Zuangzi was trying to get the bird, he forgot the danger that himself was in and was accused of stealing chestnuts. How embarrasing it was for him.
When pursuing an ambition, it is easy to set our sights forward, forgetting the danger lurking behind.
